The main difference between DCRDEX and many of the DEXes promoted by influencers is this: DCRDEX operates as a public good. It doesn't rely on the $DCR token, has no rent-seeking mechanisms or fees, and solely facilitates pure peer-to-peer atomic swaps

DEX v0.6 innovates in incentivizing good user behavior. Registration fee has been replaced with fidelity bonds. Time-lock $BTC or $DCR to keep trading. Redeem the funds back when done trading. DEX servers no longer collect fees of any kind. There are only transaction fees paid to networks of the assets being swapped.
